Shipping & Delivery Policy
From the moment a seller accepts your order to the moment it lands at your door, Joro Mart coordinates pickup, transport, and delivery through trusted courier partners across Bangladesh, and by using Joro Mart you agree to the practices described here.
1. The order journey
Every order passes through the same milestones, and you'll receive real-time status notifications as it moves through each one:
"Shipped" means the courier has picked up your parcel from the seller and is transporting it to you. "Delivered" means the courier has handed it over and you've received your package.
2. About delivery
We work with Steadfast Courier to transport every order. The platform automatically selects a suitable courier based on your destination and parcel requirements — you don't need to choose one yourself.
3. Your delivery address
You can save multiple shipping destinations (for example, Home or Office) to your account. Each address specifies:
- Division
- District
- Area / Thana
- Nearest landmark, to help the courier find you
Accurate address details directly affect how quickly and reliably your order arrives, so double-check them before checking out.
4. Delivery zones & charges
Delivery fees are calculated automatically based on your parcel's weight and its destination zone:
Inside Dhaka Zone 1
| 0 – 1 kg | ৳70 |
| 1.1 – 2 kg | ৳85 |
| 2.1 – 3 kg | ৳100 |
| Each extra 1 kg after 3 kg | +৳15 |
Outside Dhaka Zone 2
| 0 – 1 kg | ৳130 |
| 1.1 – 2 kg | ৳155 |
| 2.1 – 3 kg | ৳180 |
| Each extra 1 kg after 3 kg | +৳25 |
Remote / Hill / Coastal Areas Zone 3
| 0 – 1 kg | ৳185 |
| 1.1 – 2 kg | ৳225 |
| 2.1 – 3 kg | ৳260 |
| Each extra 1 kg after 3 kg | +৳50 |
Includes: Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachhari; Satkhira, Bagerhat, Bhola, Barguna; Sunamganj, Madaripur, Kurigram.
5. How pickup works for sellers
Once a seller accepts your order, they package it and wait for pickup — they never need to visit a courier office in person. A delivery rider from one of Joro Mart's courier partners collects the parcel directly from the seller's registered shipping address, and everything from there is arranged by Joro Mart.
6. Tracking your order
You'll receive real-time notifications as your order moves from Placed through Confirmed, Accepted, Shipped, and Delivered, so you always know where your package is in the process.
7. Returns & cancellation, at a glance
- Returns: non-food items are returnable within minutes of delivery — directly to the same delivery person — if the item arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered.
- Cancellation: orders cannot be cancelled after 30 minutes of placement.
